Sales

You provide us with the data for your sales by either:

  • Posting a customer purchase order to Xero
  • Instructing us by email to raise an invoice or repeating invoice
  • You create an invoice on Xero
Purchases
  • You forward emails with supplier invoice and/or receipt attachments to a Xero mailbox
  • You scan your supplier invoices and/or receipts and send them to the Xero mailbox
  • We feed these straight into Xero
Bank transactions
  • We set up an automatic feed into Xero from your bank account so that transactions are automatically posted
  • We match the transactions to sales, purchases and other nominal transactions
  • We check that Xero reconciles to your bank statements to ensure integrity of data
Expenses and receipts
  • You scan receipts for expenses on your phone and automatically send them through Xero Me expenses app or directly to the Xero mailbox for us to post and manage.

Initial Assessment
Until such time as we have a full understanding of the intrIcacies of all aspects of your accounts we charge by the hour. After a three-month period we would hope to settle in to a steady regime and aim to offer you a set fee going forward to help you manage your cashflow. The complexities of your accounts will determine the length of the period before we can agree a monthly fee.

In-depth Review
For organisations with more complex processes and procedures, we offer an In-depth Review informing an *In-depth Proposal as to the way forward with a Detailed Action Plan and an Indicative Price Plan at a cost of £150.00.

Monthly rate
As soon as we feel that your accounts have settled into a steady pattern we will offer you a monthly rate. We will continue to keep detailed timesheets and at the end of your financial year review the cost of the actual time spent against the monthly rate charged.

We are transparent in our pricing, keeping detailed timesheets of all our work. **Contact us for our current hourly rates.**

It is not possible to anticipate all your accounting needs without an In-depth Review hence we work on an Hourly Basis until such time that we are comfortable that we have a comprehensive understanding of your business's bookkeeping and accounting functions.

Fiona and Su offer a professional, personalised bookkeeping service to all our clients. We offer consistency to keep things simple, efficient and effective in every aspect of your accounts. We generally provide a remote service but for those who require the occasional face to face meeting, we are more than happy to arrange this.

Our skills and knowledge have been built on Accounting and Bookkeeping qualifications such as BA Hons in Accounting and Finance, AAT and Pitman Certificates in Accounting and Bookkeeping and experience of some 35+ years in business, accounting and bookkeeping.

As Bookkeepers we are supported by several Associate Accountants and Assessors to ensure that the end of year accounts we prepare for limited companies and charities are accurate and in line with Accounting Principles and that they are submitted through the proper channels. We have the expertise and experience to submit Self-Assessment Returns for individuals and partnerships.
