Liam was introduced to us last December by another of our catering clients. He took on the responsibility of a new catering franchise running his own business for the first time. He was an excellent chef who needed our guidance to ensure that he complied with all the responsibilities of a Director, meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements imposed upon Limited companies.

We set him up on Xero and trained him to provide us with all the necessary documents to inform his accounts. We are currently 90% hands on with Liam doing an excellent job in providing evidence. We are handling Liam's self-assessment returns and will work with our accountant to submit his annual accounts and corporation tax return. We handle the payroll and will soon be registering the business for VAT as he reaches the threshold, Liam is a great communicator and keeps on top of his evidence which makes our lives much easier and keeps cost down. Liam uses Whatsapp which is a great tool for someone whose work is not deskbound. It is great to be able to offer such flexibility in processes to enhance the bookkeeping experience for our clients.

FJT have given me all the support I have needed to get my business off the ground and to ensure that I am meeting my responsibilities as a Director and Employer. I could not have done it without them. I love the flexibility that Whatsapp gives me as being tied to a computer just would not work in the kitchen environment. I might take on more of the processes as the business settles but for now I am happy to provide the evidence required for FJT to keep my accounts up to date and accurate and to let them to do the rest. I feel as though they are an integral part of my team. I like the fact that when I ask something I get an almost immediate response from one of the team and they are all informed about my operations so there is no need to keep repeating myself. I am looking forward to expanding my portfolio which I could not do on my own.
